You might have to buy a copy of the marriage certificate to find the details; can't see it online.

The St Mary’s Cardigan Marriage Banns 1823-1875 are on Ancestry, no Thomas & Mary. Marriage Records are also there but 1876 –1922.

Maybe they were married elsewhere in the County?

Thank you for very much for this and for checking. I’d of half expected their marriage to be online as well as the wedding banns, especially as the BMD register says Cardigan. The wedding banns didn’t list/ mention which, so it’s a tough one.
