Sutherland of Wester watten

Hi,
I'm currently trying to trace  a possible connection between Walter Sutherland (who married Jannet Morison c 1765  but no trace of this marriage in the records) and Walter Sutherland who was baptised in Orkney in 1676.
I think Walter must have been born in c 1740's and Jannet. I have no proof as to where. They had 3 children that I can see, John 1766, Kenneth c1767(mother's maiden name says Manson) and Walter 1769 all born in Wester Watten.
I know this may be a long shot but it would help to rule it in or out.Am I barking up the wrong tree?
Has anyone researched Sutherlands or Morisons/mansons  in Wester Watten?

There was a Walter Sutherland born at the beginning of 1748 in Canisbay that would be about 19 for the birth of first child.

So much earlier Marriage than 1765 ish.
