Thomas prowse Allen   b 1848 Plymouth Devon England

I have found him in the 1851 and 1861 census but can't find any trace of him after

Did he marry  ??

Did he have any children

I think he died 1930 Staffordshire  According to some family trees  ??

Where does he fit into your FH?  Are you descended from one of his children or siblings?

GRO online shows mmn Gordon - who were his parents?

You say you “think” he died 1930 Staffs - You don’t appear to have checked freebmd to confirm that as other peoples research is often unreliable?

Have you looked for him on the 1921 census?

I have seen one published tree with that death and it does not look good.
Have you checked out any of the information given on the tree?

Hi yes I did find that death date from one of the family trees

I am struggling here

My wife and son are a ancestry DNA match with a person whose family history is the Allen name

William prowse Allen and charity laskey are her  ? x great great grandparents

they had a son Thomas Allen b 1848 in Plymouth Devon England

This is definitely the family I was using this as starting point

A ruth Allen is her 2 x great grandmother  ??

There is this one:

1871 2228 /6/3

Thomas Allen, 22 yrs Baker b Plymouth is a Servt in the household of John Dennis, in Maker, Cornwall.

The same Thomas but born abt 1855 is with the Dennis family at 1881 2279 / 16 / 25

Added and 1891 1806/7 but now born abt 1851 and is Thomas R Allen. The ‘R’ is rather fancy.

I think I saw another Thomas Allen born abt 1851 x you would need to check.

Thomas is with the Dennis Family in 1901 and 1911 but birth about 1850/1

Son William Edward Allen baptised 1838 and married as William Edward Prowse Allen in August 1866 after death of his father. Father was Thomas Prowse Allen and witness also Thomas Prowse Allen so must be junior. TPA junior also witness at 1876 marriage of Emma Jane Prowse Allen.
