Hi
Also check Ffestiniog district as parts of Portmadoc (now Porthmadog) were registered in that district.   My GG grandparents married in 1861 and it was Ffestiniog.

This should also be in the Caernarfonshire forum.   Carmarthenshire is in South Wales

A few years ago I met some ladies in my local library in Carmarthenshire.

They had travelled from London to research a birth which was registered in Caernarfonshire, easily done if you`re not familiar wuth Wales !

The birth was on FreeBMD , so they could have found it at home!
