Eric, this should answer your questions.

https://www.dataminingdna.com/gedmatch-superkits/

I upgraded my account to paid membership for one month to access the Tier 1 functions, which include superkit creation, then cancelled and reverted to a free account after it was done. It's not possible to download and transfer the superkit to other sites , or at least it wasn't at the time, I haven't checked recently, but once you have created it, you can set it as the default kit on GEDmatch and either delete or mark your donor kits as research kits.

Thanks. I haven't looked at Gedmatch much for a while, so I didn't know about that. I'll check it out.

I have tested with both Ancestry and My Heritage.

Ancestry test was about 5 years ago whereas the My Heritage was earlier this year.

Only took the My Heritage so that myself and two DNA Cousins who are related to my other high DNA Cousin would each have taken the same test and that accurate comparisons could take place.

Hi @Wexflyer,

With regards your original post on repeat testing. It is not always possible because testing platforms are continually updated. For instance; Ancestry has used a new microarray Chip v2 since 2016.

23andMe is now on Chip  Version 6.0. (June 2020).
