Suggest you give some more info as to exactly what "links" you are looking for & what timescale is involved.

Also - what part of Switzerland

If you are looking for links to a particular ancestor - give name/birthdate/birthplace to enable readers to determine a connection

Please do not post details of anybody who is still alive

Census Information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk
Carlin (Ireland & Liverpool) Doughty & Wright (Liverpool) Dick & Park (Scotland & Liverpool)

Yes, as CaroleW says, give us something to work on and we can try to help. There are a few Swtzerland ‘experts’ on here who can guide you.

For a start try the LDS page on Swiss genealogy (though bear with their US slant on things!)
https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Switzerland_Genealogy

However, it is essential to know the locality of the subject being researched. Swiss family records are NOT centralised. A surname can give a clue, but not if its a common one.

Good luck!

In many parts of Europe, people speak far better English than the English!!
BUT, I use the free google translate facility to ensure I am being readily understood.  :D

Thanks for all the replies,I think I may have to buy the marriage cert  just to make sure they are the correct persons before I make enquiries ,strictly speaking it is a very distant off shoot of my tree/is there any way to view  marrige certs without buying them? As I see on some tree's a scan of actual pages in the books.
Thanks

Do you mean an England & Wales (or some other country) certificate or a Swiss one?

In any event, neither are viewable online (though Scotland has viewable images - for a fee).

We seem to be wallowing a bit!!!
If you can give us what you know, or are surmising, (state which) then we can be a bit more specific in help for you.
