Hello again,
I am trying to find out more about what happened to 2 of my ancestor's sisters.
I have just received a copy of the birth certificate of the older girl, on her certificate she is stated to have been born in Glenville Terrace, Newcastle in 1899 to Patrick Graham and Catherine Graham formerly Coleman.
The family next move to Jarrow where their next daughter Catherine is born, I have her baptism record from St Bede's Catholic Church Jarrow. They are all on the 1901 census in Jarrow.
In 1911 they are at 25 and 24 North Street, North Shields.
In 1921 the Graham family are at 25 Front Street, North Shields, however both Catherine and Norah are missing and I cannot find them elsewhere on the 1921 census.
I have a couple of records of Catherine later, one where she purchases the grave plot in Wallsend in 1948 for her parents Patrick and Catherine, and one in 1957 where the is a witness at a wedding ( Don't want to give details about the wedding as living persons are involved). I have had some feedback about potentially finding death records for Catherine in Scotland but I haven't got any further with that yet.
On family history sites I have seen people claiming 2 marriages for Norah, however, when looking at Freebmd I cannot find them.
I would really like to find out more about these 2 girls and if Norah did marry, who she married. I don't seem to be making much progress. Any help would be appreciated.
