joseph longden b 1871 Carbrook Sheffield

Hi trying to find some info on a Joseph Longden b 1871 Carbrook Sheffield. I have him on the 1911 Census living in Chesterfield with wife Priscilla, only they never married, she just took his name. His occupation is down as coal miner / now blind.
On the 1921 census he is still in Chesterfield but down as a blind street merchant. Apart from these i cannot find anything else about him. His great grandson said he used to go up and down Chesterfield station busking. Any info gratefully welcome.

There is also a Carbrooke in Norfolk as well as Carbrook Yorkshire.  Does the 1921 entry confirm his birthplace & birthyear?

How does he fit into your FH?  Are you descended from one of his children?

Yes Carbrook Sheffield 1871. He had a daughter called Elsie born 1910 Chesterfield. He is my friends grandmother's father.

Not immediately finding a marriage for the parents or a birth for Joseph (but it is late!), although this looks like Walter's birth, with the mmn tying in with the surname of the boarder in 1881:

Thankyou for your replies, I cannot even find a birth for him in Sheffield in 1871. There is one but it's spelt Longdin 1867 Sheffield but no mother's name given.

From his age on the census his birth would be c1867, so its probably this one:
