Charles Andrew Reid’s birth was registered in 1896 in the Adventist church records in Scotstown, Quebec the son of Andrew and Margaret Lizzie Reid.  From the Drouin collection on ANC.

Charles Andrew Reid and Charlotte Edgar, ages 23 and 22, bachelor and spinster, married 12Jan 1920, at Adventist Christian Church, Toronto.  His parents are given as Andrew Reid and Lizzie Boy.  Her parents are Alexander Edgar and Charlotte Heath.  Bride born Edinburgh, Scotland and groom Scotstown, Quebec.

Obituary for Charles Andrew Reid in the Toronto Star 2 March 1966 page 38. 

It says Charles Andrew Reid No. 3206405, Private 10th Battalion CEF, passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital on March 1 1966.  Address 52 Stavely Cres. Rexdale.   Husband of the late Charlotte Reid.  Father of Mrs Edward Chauvin (Elizabeth), Detroit, Mrs. Charles Brundritt (Evelyn), Rexdale, Ronald, Ajax, Donald, London ON, and Bruce.  9 grandchildren.  Interment Veterans' section, York Cemetery.
