Are there any other similar entries? Could it mean of Weldon Parish instead of the more common  OTP of this Parish.

Having looked at the image, I can see that the couple above are described as of "W. Parva" and I wonder whether this is W. P.

I cannot find a place called W. Parva on Google. I was thinking maybe West Parva, but I cannot find anything for that search term.

Having looked on Wikipedia, I found this:

There are several locations where one settlement is named "Magna" and another nearby "Parva". In this context, magna and parva are the Latin terms for "great" and "little" respectively.

So maybe it is Weldon Parva? Just a guess. I don't really know much about Northamptonshire.

EDIT: There may be something to this theory, as I can see some couples described as of W.M. Could this be Weldon Magna?

I can actually see an earlier entry for a Lewis Brigstock of Weldon Parva, so this looks like it might be the answer.

I can’t find any alternative WP near by in Phillimore Parish Atlas.

Weldon itself is listed as Great Weldon.

Hi all, I concur with the idea of W P being Weldon Parva, when one thinks about that
the marr was in the early 1700's when the clergy were just about coming out of the
use of Latin being written in parish records in some still used that I have come across,
as I say many thanks for putting forward good ideas regarding ..W P..

                  Thanks much appreciated....
