Just to add:

Joan may have been baptised on 13th January 1833, but she was not an infant. Nicholas & Sarah undertook a mass baptism of their children.

William
Anne
John
Mary
George
Joan
Hannah
Eliza

were all baptised on the same day. Their entries come one after another in the parish register.

Thanks for all the information. I did see the marriage of Joan Reed and David Long in 1860, but was put off by the fact that she was transcribed as Ann on the census.
