I have Robert in 1841 and 1861 in pentrefelin but no sign in 1851.

I dont have any census info for Rowland, Hugh, and not convinced about what i have for william and elinor. As you know there are many people in wales with the same names so difficult to be sure you have the right one unless you have wedding cert with fathers name and job on.

I did quite a few transcriptions for the NWBMD many years ago.

The highest concentration of Williams is in Caernarfonshire and Anglesey. Many of mine are Roberts, Ellis and Jones  :-X

I'll look for them but it might take a while as it is a busy week.

Take care in the  North. I re-watched the Sami Sleigh Ride at the weekend.

I have researched the rowland you mention and found somebody else on ancestry that has him in his tree and he is a dna match to me so it looks likely to be the correct rowland.

It now makes more sense the wedding date in dec 1796 for WW and JR is correct with Rowland being the first born in 1798.

It's all slowly fitting together.

I think that some of the early baptisms might have been non-conformist. I've checked some of the online ones but haven't found Rowland so far. Many of these records are missing. I have the Clwyd FHS non-c records for Denbighshire  but that's no help for you. Have you tried the local FHS:

https://www.familytreeresources.com/anglesey-family-history-society.html

Also, in relation to the DNA match, have you been in touch with the match and have you checked any other matches that you share ?

Which of the other siblings are you still looking for?  I'm not sure now!

Hi, I have checked DNA matches and there are 3 but none of have any trees of note. I have not contacted the match as of yet. They have a fairly comprehensive tree but they dont have WW and JR as parents of Rowland. I dont have baptism record for him either but the rest of the evidence looks good.

I have no record whatsoever for Jane (hugh)? mentioned in the will.
i have no census for Hugh or William. There are a few in the census but none that i can find evidence that they are the correct ones.

I have not tried the local FHS and not really sure how it works.
I though it was a resource use can only use if you are based locally?
