Northampton Regiment

looking to find a little information on Samuel Watson, he joined sometime in 1939 the Northampton Regiment, Fathers name Joel Watson of 468 Stonebroom Derbyshire, wife name Connie, don't have much on him regarding his Army service other than he was at Dunkirk, cheers for any further information.

His marriage was 1939 & there were 5 children born between 1939 & 1961.  Are any of those children still alive as I think they may have to apply for his WW2 record

He died in 1991

If the person in question died more than 25 years ago then ANYONE can apply for the service records. His children have no say in the matter.
