Hi Sandra
I have recently been sorting out my late fathers house , which has been occupied by our family since the mid 1800.s
Amongst the paperwork I think I have come across the medals for William , a picture, and certificate of service etc.
My maternal Grandmothers maiden name was Taylor and I believe she originated from Shropshire, where her family were bootmakers, or as family gossip suggests
I believe W J Taylor is one of the same.

Regards
John
