Is Charles your ancestor?
I presume you know what happened to him, since you are here,
Is it the deaths of his parent’s you are looking for?

I see 9 James Jones b c 1795 in deaths registered Wrexham between 1861 and 1871.  I have no idea how you could whittle them down. Ag Lab in 1861, unlikely to be a newspaper mention.

I cannot assist, but you could use a more descriptive thread title to focus our attention!

The 1861 address is "Sontley Cottages"

FindMyPast parish burials (image/transcript)
James Jones, abode - Erddig Road, Wrexham, buried - 3 Feb 1871, age 78, Brymbo Parish.

Erddig Road and Sontley Road meet at their northen ends. Might want to check location of "Sontley Cottages" of the '61 Census?

There's a "Sontley Cottage" on this 1898 map
https://maps.nls.uk/view/102181074
Centre map - just east of Coed-y-glyn Wood.
Note - on the '71 Census "Sontley Cottages (2 households) follows "Coed-y-Glyn". On the '61 Census there are 3 households.

Ancestry also has the original image and the entry is Wrexham Parish.

Mistake it should be James Jones not John.

I have possibly found Ann but not going to post yet as it could be wrong.
Perhaps more information on Charles after 1861 will help.

I've been checking out Charles. Initially drawn to the Charles, Elizabeth and Ann Elizabeth on the '71 Census. But finding it difficult to join the dots!.
