Note that the 1841 census for the Wrexham area is missing. We have to use BMDs to try to find our ancestors in that area. I do have transcripts of the two Wrexham townships but they only cover the town itself.

How do you know that James and Ann are your 2xgrt grandparents? If you can't find Charles after 1861, then who are you descended from?

When and where did Charles marry and who is his wife.
Have you got the marriage certificate or any information.
What is his father' James occupation,  where was Charles living and what was his occupation.
You have obviously worked back so it might help us to help you.

Jones is a common name, so where is Edward. Where have you found him and when and where was he born.

I have found an Ann Jones who died in 1872 who is buried with James jones. Do you think this is my grandparents

Can you give more details.  Where are they buried.

Edward was baptised on 5 Oct 1836, Ruabon, son of  James (labourer) and Anne. Abode - Clwt.

Can you tell us  what you know about Edward, William?

Edward was baptised 5 Oct 1835 Rubon


He first married Elizabeth Edwards 1835-1895


And then to Eliza Reynolds 1869-1948

Edward Jones died in 1932 aged 96 years old.

James and Ann Jones had the following children
Ellen Jones 1834 Ruabon
Edward 1835 As above
Charles 1839 Ruabon
