Butlers of Whitehall House Lathaleere Baltinglass Wicklow
« on: Thursday 29 December 22 16:43 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for any information on the Butlers of Whitehall House Lathaleere Baltinglass Wicklow Lathaleere Baltinglass Wicklow, looking at Griffiths it is a substantial property. I know a Thomas Butler lived there and took a number of Wicklow families to settle in South Africa around 1820, I have read through his correspondence regarding the resettlement. Griffiths makes reference to a Pierce Butler and I think there was a George and a William Butler.

Whitehall House  no longer stands, its very early days researching this line but any assistance would be gratefully received.

That's the place, there is also some further information in encumbered estates. I know the Palmer's had the place before the Butlers moved in. These Butlers are COI so I will have have a look around the local COI graveyards
