Looks as if she may have married in 1942 Sheffield to a Crawford, there is a widowed William Worrall bn 1895 with E Crawford (Worrall) bn1918 living Sheffield 1939

E L Crawford departs for Canada in 1946 on Ship name Aquitania with a male child age 2 yrs 11 mths

Although this is back tracking - the marriage cert for Mary Ann Williams and Thomas Edward Nelmes on 10 Nov 1908 in Llanwenarth Baptist Chapel is on a Family Tree on Anc - both listed as 21 and Mary Ann's father is Thomas Williams coalminer - Mary Ann's address  listed as Near Upper Brickyard Blaenavon

Hi Kay. The last bit of info from you re the marriage of Mary Ann and Thomas e Nelmes, is the icing on the cake.

It says they were married 1908 at llanwenarth Baptist Church. Mary Ann lived with her aunt Sophia (Williams) Phillips for a number of years !908  Sophia and her husband George Phillips were living at Lower Cwm Farm, Govilon Llanwenarth Baptist is very close to their farm. Sophia and her husband George Phillips are buried in the graveyard of this Baptist Church.
Now to order the birth cert. i would like to express my sincere thanks to one and all for the help given to me in finally finding out what happened to Mary Ann, my great Aunt Very best.  Ken Williams
