A husband may be called Gutowski, his wife's name would be Gutowska

I hate to make matters worse - but don't rule out Ukraine for a birth as well
there is a section roughly 15 miles wide that has been owned by Poland - Ukraine -Poland - Ukraine for centuries  my own father in law - Ostap Kabluckyj - pronounced Cab Loose Ski was born there - Rohatyn -(Ukraine ) Rogatyn (Poland ).......
