I am impatiently waiting for my solicitor to answer my questions re me having to accept I missed a deadline that occurred two weeks before I knew there was something to reply to.  Although I am more worried that it happens again with a more damaging petition I would like to know what I can do to protect my children.  It feels very uncomfortable constantly living such a restricted life and having no rights.

For the first time since the start of the Christmas holidays my washing basket is temporarily not overflowing.  Girls are back at school after holidays today, but then primary school closed for strikes tomorrow.

Must admit I find happiness if my washing basket is empty and even happier when it is washed and put away, this weather it is more difficult to get dry, I don't use my tumble drier anymore, it is housed in the garage and not so long ago I didn't go out to collect the washing on time, the dial had got stuck with 10 minutes to go, the washing was so hot it was almost to hot to handle, that worried me as to what might have happened, so it is in retirement at the moment till I decide what to do,  get a replacement or not
