Arthur Charles Howard Winter (1872-1935) Death at Sea
« on: Monday 09 January 23 20:05 GMT (UK) »
I would appreciate any help in finding information about Arthur Charles Howard Winter (1872-1935) of 19 King Street, Ramsgate, Kent, whose probate record states that he died at sea on 24 January 1935.  I am particularly curious about the circumstances of his death.  There does not appear to be a GRO death record for him.  He managed and perhaps owned some drapery and men's clothes shops in Kent.  His widow Alice Sarah Litchfield Winter (1873-1974) did not remarry and neither of his two children, Sydney Howard Winter (1901-1970) and Edna Litchfield Winter (1903-1984), seem to have married.

I don't have access but a snippet on Findmypast, says he was on a holiday cruise to the West Indies when he died.
