Hello ,Silly question really! is it perfectly legal to try and trace deceased relatives
just wondering/

If not, genealogy would be a crime

and almost all Rootschat members would be criminals.

Oh gosh, 6 months hard labour  but we would be fed and watered 3 times a day, watch television kept warm  and do what we wanted in some respects,  some pour souls don’t get treated like that and struggle to find  one meal a day.

When researching my husband's line, I did find that a distant cousin of his was a  murderer (crime passionnel) in the early 19th century.
