I’m not taking the time to read your other post…did John or Phoebe have any siblings who may have settled in Canada?…

…If your couple had any siblings who ended up in Canada we might be able to find their passage, to see if they sailed to Canada or America.

Hiya Lisa,

I am afraid I dont know is the honest answer to your question.

My post on the Lincolnshire boards started off because I couldn`t find either John or Phoebe after 1881. I didn’t even realise until the replies starting coming through that Sarah Elizabeth Cobb born circa 1866 was Phoebe`s daughter…

I tried searching for any family members (including their parents) who also may have sailed c1882 but couldn’t find any.  But, I certainly wasn’t thorough, so I could have missed someone.  Sorry that I couldn’t find anything helpful.

You certainly dont have to apologise Lisa. I am more than grateful for your kind help and assistance since I placed my original post.

Many sincere thanks Steve  ;)

Hi Sandra,

What can I say.................literally nothing.................I am stuck for words.........A GREAT BIG THANK YOU barely seems appropriate under the circumstances.

I acknowledge and sincerely appreciate your time researching on my behalf and then placing your findings with your TWELVE previous replies  ;D ;D

I am really quite overwhelmed.

Thank you so much Steve  ;)
