« on: Tuesday 17 January 23 10:08 GMT (UK) »
Hi i have a marriage for the above on 28-5-1810 found on family search but not sure its correct.
"Wales, Marriage Bonds, 1650-1900," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGXD-TZ6Z : 3 September 2019), William Jones and Elinor Jones, 28 May 1810; citing Marriage, Anglesey, Wales, United Kingdom, National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth.

how can i find more details so i can prove correct?

I also have the gravestone for both of the above in llangeinwen and it mentions an Ellen Jones daugh of John and Elizabeth(cefn bychan, newborough) and grand daughter to william Jones.
Margaret(1813-1822) also on headstone
Mary 1814
Elizabeth 1817
Dorothy 1819
Margaret 1823 -1887

Thanks ciderdrinker and talacharn for that info.
I think the st ceinwen parish church in 1812 is the most likely match, as far as i know their first born was margaret in 1813.
I have the baptisms for 4 of the girls, all with father joiner and living in ty newydd between 1814 and 1823. Elinor died in september 1823.
Is there anywhere where i can find out more info about the St Ceinwen marriage in 1812?

I've been looking through the  copies of Llangeinwen parish records for the broad period but it seems that 1812 is missing. There seems to be a gap from 1800-ish to Feb 1813.

The first record for 1813 is:

23 February 1813 William Jones of Llangefni and Mary Williams of Llangeinwen

I don't see the marriage on 21 Feb 1813 in the parish records that are online. I'm not sure what the source of the  FreeReg one was:

Sorry. I've spent a while flipping though the parish register images, maybe they're out of order and with another batch.

Anglesey records can be a pain to find. Odd bits turn up in other parishes. I'd try Newborough, Llangaffo and Llanidan for the missing years. Currently missing some marriage years in Aberffraw
Jones, Parry, Williams on Lleyn, Hughes, Thomas on Anglesey/Caernarvonshire, Blunt, Davies, Lee in Dudley, Staffs
Cox, Humphreys and Keech, Bedford

An image of the Bishop's Transcript for 1812 can be found at:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSJZ-LVZW?cat=409228

Possible relevant entries are:

1812 Feb 21st Wm Jones & Eleanor Jones were married by Banns

and later that year, the baptism:

1812 September 13 Margaret daughter of William Jones joiner of Taldrws & Eleanor his wife
