Robert & Sarah Painter, Old and Chipping Sodbury

Hi,
Trying to identify Sarah, the wife of Robert Painter, who died in the Chipping Sodbury area in the March 1885 quarter.
According to census returns she was born in Old Sodbury about 1804-05.

The husband Robert Painter bap. Sutton Benger, Wilts. 25/12/1807, bur. Dodington, Glos. 23/12/1857, was a son of Adam Painter & Jane Ellery.

I can find no indication of Robert and Sarah's marriage, and do not know her surname or parents.

Robert & Sarah had 6 children that I know of, viz.
John, bap. Chipping Sodbury 23/1/1831; James bap. C.S. 2/2/1834; Mary Roach, bap. Dodington 25/6/1837; Elizabeth bap. D. 2/10/1842; Ann bap. D. 2/10/1842; George bap. D. 29/3/1846.
So I'm assuming they married about 1829-30 in the Sodbury area???

If anyone can shed any light on Sarah and her marriage to Robert I'd be very grateful.

From looking at the GRO Index for the births of Elizabeth and George Painter in Chipping Sodbury - Sarah's maiden name may have been Roash or Roach. Both were born after the start of Civil Registration.

Robert Painter married Sarah Roach on 6th May 1827 at Dodington. He was a bachelor, she a spinster, and both made their mark. No witnesses with shared surnames.
