Military paper decipher
« on: Wednesday 18 January 23 18:43 GMT (UK) »
I finally received my grandfathers military papers from ww2 and on one of the pages it says he was at Naval training for 3 years which no one ever knew.

I can't read the rest of it though. I think it says Naval training something something from 1929 - 1932.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I read it as "Caterham" and a training school mentioned here

Portsmouth Evening News, 6 Mar 1931
"WARSHIPS IN PORT
Portsmouth's Daily Official Record

Have seen several references to the "Alresford and Caterham" as "tenders to the Dryad Navigation School"
