I'm looking for the location of Auchenlochie/ Auchnalochie on the eastern side of Loch Eribol. It's a pre-clearance

The nearest that I can find is Loch Ach'an Lochaidh

translates as  ' field at the loch ' or equivalent.  Could easily be more than one ...
There is also an Auchencloich ...
cheers, Ian

If this is the loch in question then I know quite a bit about this location and have visited it. This loch fed the water mills below known as Badlehavish mills and the nearby millers house is shown as my avatar.
@dbmac544 what is your interest in this location?

It seems to have been a very remote place even in the late 18th century, apart from the mill occupied by Angus Mackay MacEan'icIye, Barbara Manson from Reay and their children, who are presumably meanno's ancestors
