She's not showing off a ring, so maybe it was after her marriage.  Usually, engagement and/or wedding rings are shown to show a change of status - i..e. betrothed or just married.  Is there a slight sign of a pregnancy ?

Hi Gadget, so sorry for the late reply, I missed this back in January!
If she's no longer showing off a wedding ring, but possibly showing slightly, it'd be later in 1896, aged 22. Her first/only child was born in April 1897.

Sadly she died from miscarriage complications with her second child in 1902 :-(
