Richard Joseph Walsh was born 6th Sept 1900 in Portumna, Co Galway in Ireland. We know he died Oct-Dec 1973* (Thanks to CaroleW's comment) in the Archway area of Islington but we do not know where he was buried / if cremeted or if there were any obituaries.

His wife Mary Theresa Walsh nee Nixon who was born 5th-10th January 1916 in Birr, Kings County in Ireland. We know she died on 22nd Oct 1986 in the Archway area of Islington but we do not know where she was buried / if cremeted or if there were any obituaries.

I dont live in England so have no way of searching locally. Can anyone in London or elsewhere with access to newspapers check if their place of burial or any obituary can be located?

Now got his death cert.
Richard Joseph Walsh died 22nd October 1973 in Islington.
His wife Mary Teresa Walsh nee Nixon died 22nd October 1986 in Islington.

Still no luck finding a burial place for him or Mary. We have tried newspapers, council, burial grounds in London and Ireland. No luck.
