Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Shoeing Smith George James- Army Service Corps - Service No :- TS/8804- died27/10/1918- aged 41 years  - buried Burghill (St Mary The Virgin Churchyard) 1st grave on left hand side of path.

Son of William and Eliza Alice James; husband of the late Ellen Norah James.

The private memorial marking the grave of Shoeing Smith James no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

Probate Date 15 Mar 1919- Probate Registry London.

School House. Perrystone Hill, Yalton, Herefordshire a farrier in the ArmyService Corps died 27 October 1918 at the Edinburgh War Hospital Bangowyr -administration (with will limited) London 15 th March to Annie Alice Biscoe James (spinster)
