You give his birth place as Kidderminster, do you have proof of that

Could you please provide information on John and Elizabeth's children (assuming they had some)? What were their names and when/where were they baptised?

Regarding John's wife, Elizabeth, I'm wondering if her surname was actually Burbridge. I cannot find a single Burnridge in Warwickshire or Worcestershire, but there are lots of Burbridges.

EDIT: There is an Elizabeth baptised in 1764 to John & Elizabeth Burbridge in Worcester.

I was going to say if he died 1857 then he would appear on the 1841/1851 Census.
Which he doesn't.
He would also be in his 90's by 1857.

( I noticed a Tree has those dates but as found are incorrect)

I can see 2 bapt Kidderminster Parents John/Elizabeth
WILLIAM Postin 26 February 1786
JAMES Postins  10 October 1787
May be others elsewhere

Trish :)

Hello to you all.

It would appear that the info that i have found is incorrect, to say the least! I should have checked it out before posting. So my apologies to you all...

I will start again with Sydney Arthur Postins 1894 /1965. Father Allen John Postins 1865 / 1939 and see how it goes.
Many thanks once again.

Regards
Tomm

HI
Just to say there was a possible baptism for John 3.3.1767 Wolverley s of John and Elizabeth Postin  but I will start on the new info

Had a look and yes the tree does go back to John and Elizabeth Burnridge
Allen John Postins
John Postins 1839-1918 and Emma Parsons 1844-1922
William Postins and Jane Williams
William Postins and Mary Mason married Enville 1810
John Postins and Elizabeth Burnridge

Unfortunatley my Library computer is now turning off as I've had my slot

Hi Ciderdrinker

Many thanks for taking the time to point me in the right direction.
I have looked at the Postins family and come to Elizabeth Burnridge. which I need to look at carefully
It looks like she had a son, a William K Postins in 1785.

I will search some more!
Many thanks
Regards
Tomm
