Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Major Frank Philip Purdie - Essex Regiment - died 20/3/1919 - buried Warwick Cemetery.

The private memorial marking the grave of Major Purdie no longer provides adequate commemoration.  The Commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

Son of the late George Thomas Purdie; husband of Charlotte Jane Reeve (formerly Purdie), of Beech Lawn, Solihull.
