Ellis Hughes.
« on: Thursday 26 January 23 13:59 GMT (UK) »
Ellis Hughes was baptised in 1813 at Hope.Church
He married in 1835 in Hope Church and lived all his life in the area.
He is last found in 1891 in Llanfynydd , Hope aged 78.
I can't find a death or burial that fits .

There is one in 1899 in Holywell but I doubt if it's him.
Can anyone help please.

This looks like Ellis in Cheshire 1871, which ties in with the death posted.

Could he have been sent to the Assizes in Denbighshire?

Great stuff but not my man.
I have found he was buried in Llanfynydd in September 1896 aged 84.

Possibly his death was registered in Chester although he was buried in Llanfynydd.

Strange he doesn't show on Freebmd,  but is on GRO and Northwales BMD.

Thanks.
