Update,
John Higginson died and Susannah married John Hughes, he died and she married again to Stephen Roberts.
On both these marriage certificates she names her father as Robert Williams,  deceased collier.

I'm still at a loss. 🤔

agreed it's a pity about the 1841 census.

This family seems to match some of the details that you have

1851 census in Coed Cristionydd, Rhosymedre headed by William Morris, sawyer
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SG88-CSW
birth reg for Martha Morris march qtr 1851 Wrexham mmn Roberts

parish marriage in Pontfadog 7 Dec 1846
William Morris full age widower Sawer Trefor Isaf father John Morris, rockman
Hannah Williams full age widow Trefor Isaf father Joseph Roberts collier

possible first marriage Ruabon 26 Dec 1835 Robert Williams & Hannah Roberts

Was hoping to find Susannah with Roberts grandparents in 1851 but haven't done so far.

Thanks I did find these. It's a bit of a coincidence that Susannah Williams/Higginson / Hughes / Roberts  also lived in the Moss during her first marriage,  but coal miners did move around.

Presumably Robert Williams died between 1839 and 1846.
The only 2 found on GRO are Robert Williams 27 in 1840 and Robert Williams 33 in 1841,both Wrexham district.
Northwales bmd has the 1840 one as in Ruabon subdistrict.
Unfortunately Ive not found a burial on Ancestry.
I could be working this out wrongly though 😉

I don't get this if Hannah was a Williams.
Name William Roberts age 8 b 1843
Step son. .?
