Did John Callear (b.1922) marry Beatrice M Antell [nee Parker] (1946, Rotherham)

I have recently made contact with another Callear who is the grand-daughter of a John Callear who married Beatrice M Antell.

We are trying to find her connection to the Callear family tree that I have assembled. Unfortunately, she does not know much about her grandad. The most likely candidate on my tree is a John Callear who was born in 1922 (d. 1988) but without proof we cannot go further.

Can anyone help to prove or disprove this connection?

I have found living children of John on Facebook but have not been able to make contact with them.

FYI - Beatrice was born Parker then married a Leslie E Antell in 1941.

In the Haugh Road Municipal Cemetery is a gravestone with the following inscription:

In Loving /Memory of / JOHN CALLEAR (JACK)/ a beloved husband/ dad and grandad/ died 12th June 1988/ aged 66 years/ Forever in our thoughts/ Also/ BEATRICE MAUD/ CALLEAR (BETT)/ a dearly loved wife/ mother and grandma/ died 11th June 2006/ aged 83 years./ Together in peace forever/ Both missed in every way/ The happiness you both gave us/ Will remain with us each day.

So John (1922-1988) did marry Beatrice Maud.

There is a probate record for Beatrice Maud Callear on Government wills.
Beatrice Maud Callear's date of birth on the GRO death registration is 2 July 1922. The date of birth for Beatrice Maud Parker/Antell on the 1939 register is 2 July 1921.
