« on: Sunday 29 January 23 23:40 GMT (UK) »
Hi everyone,

Trying to find where my great great grandfather might be buried/cremated.

His name is William Dash and on his census it says he lived at 157 Cornwall Road in Middlesex and he passed away on the 6th of January 1967.

Think you mean the address is from his probate entry - not his census record

When did his wife die & where is she buried as he may possibly be in the same grave

Hi,

Sorry yeah his probate record and she died in 1933 but she’s buried in Pembrokeshire where they used to live together. I’ve got her grave located

He went to live in Middlesex with his son had moved there

Jack

It might be worth getting a copy of his Will (£1.50) to see if he made any requests as to burial.

Hi,

Had a look and turns out I had it on Ancestry already but it doesn’t say anything on there besides his date of death and his probate just says London on it.

Would I have to contact some of the local councils to see if they could check any of their burial records?

Hi,

What you are referring to is the National Probate Calendar, which is just an index. Nannyjan is suggesting you get an actual copy of the will mentioned within this index.

157 Cornwall Road is in Ruislip, Middlesex.

Have you tried local newspapers, or those in Pembrokeshire

ADDED Is there any chance that he was cremated and his ashes put with his wife.
