Help restoring old photo of John and Mary Gray
« on: Sunday 05 February 23 11:32 GMT (UK) »
Hello

I would be very grateful if anyone could try and improve the attached photo. It was taken in 1921 and shows my mother, her twin sister and parents.

Thank you

Thanks for taking the time to do this. It’s amazing and surreal at the same time. I am amazed you have managed to improve it as much as you have as there wasn’t a lot of detail there to start with. However, I think it is perhaps over refined giving it an artificial look? Maybe something in between the original and this would look more natural?

Thanks, I like this a lot, as they say on “The Repair Shop”, sympathetically restored while retaining its original character.

I like the extra bit of detail you have been able to extract. Thanks
