HEAP - Keighley
« on: Monday 06 February 23 12:51 GMT (UK) »
I have a photograph of the grave of Joshua HEAP and his wife Mary.  Joshua was born in 1800 in Haworth and Mary was born in Keighley. I've found them up to the 1861 census living in Keighley, but I can't find Joshua and Mary in 1871 (died in 1880), and Joshua should be on the 1881 too (died in 1886).  Can anyone else spot them please?

Many thanks

~ Doris

There is a 'John' Heap, born c.1801 in Haworth, living with Mary Heap, born c.1801 in Keighley, on the 1871 census for South Street, Keighley. John's birth place and occupation match with the other censuses, and I cannot find this 'John' on any other census.

That’s excellent - I’d seen the ‘John’ but couldn’t find Joshua - will look at it further - many thanks
