1939 England and Wales Register - Hospitals

Would hospitals and their staff and patients be recorded on the 1939 England and Wales Register?

I have someone who was a nurse who is listed at Bedford County Hospital and Lodge, Kempston Road, Bedford.  There a few pages of resident staff there and it also looks as though patients were then listed going by their occupations

I am still on the hunt for the friend of my grandma’s that was killed in an air raid on St Nicholas’ Hospital, Plumstead, during the war!
I thought if I could get a list of the staff, I could cross reference them all against the CWG list of civilian casualties of war! I know it’s a long shot though!

yes, Bumble. I can’t find her. I am thinking she might be at the hospital. She’s not on the 1939 register with her father. Her name is Doris May Francis b 30 March 1922, East Wickham (Dartford Registration Area)
She trained at St Nicholas Hospital, Tewson Road, Plumstead
