Cherry garden lane bitton.
« on: Saturday 11 February 23 13:07 GMT (UK) »
On the opposite end of Cherry Garden Lane from Barry hill, was a property  owned by The Parry family in the late 1700s.
In a will the property was described as being at the top of Cherry Garden Lane. I cannot find a property that could be old enough to be it. Any suggestions please. Thank you

Looks promising. There are remnants of a building a bit further up too. Wonder which property it was.

The original post says the OPPOSITE end of Cherry Garden Lane from Barry Hill. so to my mind that means the Oldland end, between where the old tramway ran under the railway and the junction in Oldland.

There appears to be a ruined building on the W side of the road at that end.

The 1948 to '68 OS shows those buildings still there at that time.
