Death record of Jean-Baptiste Goguet AKA Malo in Aurora, Kansas
« on: Saturday 11 February 23 19:23 GMT (UK) »
Good afternoon everyone,

Could someaone help me find the death record of Jean-Baptiste (or John in English) Goguet AKA Malo who died in Aurora, Kansas on September 26th, 1895. His wife is Angèle/Angelina Courtois. The only information I could find is on FindaGrave (missing the picture) and one census.

Hi Erato,

Thank you, I will contact them.

I also forgot to ask if someone could help me find an obituary and/or information on whether or not he came alone to the US.

Jean-Baptiste has three brothers (Joachim born in 1818, Eugène born in 1822 and Jules Julien born in 1829) and one sister (Marie Élise born in 1835) that seem to have vanished from the province of Québec. All his other siblings stayed in Canada. I am wondering if Jean-Baptiste's siblings could have followed him to the US. Their parents are Jean-Baptiste Goguet/Goyette AKA Malo/Maleau AKA Julien AKA Ayotte/Ayette (the family names changed a lot for this family) and Marie Chaput.

Hi Sandra,

Thank you for the obituaries. The one from The Concordia Blade seems to be the original one which would fit the date of death found in FindaGrave. Sadly, there is no information on his family.
