I spotted a wonderful old photo dated 1902 in the Totnes, (South Hams, Devon,) flea market yesterday. (11 Feb. 2023)
Aunt Sara EGAN and Aunt Ellie REDDING.
I do hope someone recognises the name and manages to rescue the history before it is trashed.

Out of sheer curiosity I put the name Ellie Redding into the 1901 census and came up with a mother and daughter of Ellie V Redding.  Mum born 1862 Ireland, daughter born 1887.  Living at 21, Elmfield Road, Streatham, Wandsworth, London & Surrey

I think this may be the daughter's birth record:-

GRO Reference: 1886  D Quarter in HOLBORN  Volume 01B  Page 741

Going by the photo I would think that it is the elder Ellie.

Such a shame that people throw away their family history and for its age the photo is quite good.

I wonder if this is the marriage of the younger Sarah Lynott and is she the Sara Egan in the photograph
