Re attached. Can anyone tell me the purpose of this document as I am unable to decipher the two words following the 1952, ? of ? was pronounced. These seem to be the main point of the document.

R.C.E.'s are attached to Marriages where there has been a divorce.

This happened until 1st May 1984 when the Statutory Register of Divorce was introduced.

Corrected entries may also be used when the cause of death is not known when the death is originally registered.
