and their son Alfred G. born in 1912 (Fulham) seems to have completely evaporated, Victor & Dennis I can trace.

There is an Alfred George (G confirmed as George on the GRO)  Derbyshire in the London Gazette 1937. Clerical class. Taking up appointment in the War Office

Thank you for the G confirmation.....maybe he disappears after 1937

He wasn’t at his father’s funeral  (which took place on Monday Feb 7th 1949)

I don’t think he was the one in the war office. There is an older man of same name who has earlier appointments.

Added..he wasn’t at his mothers funeral either.
And not mentioned as being overseas or anything, so he must surely have died. But I can’t see death either. (not the Prescot one in 1913 I feel as there is a Prescot birth)

Not coming up with family in 1921 either, just did an address search on free index, Cross Street, where Joseph Harold is in 1939 and address given for wife on death by Carol.

Died before the deaths of his parents, perished in WWII or migrated.....thanks for locating a burial date for his father.
