Hi this is not a question as such just curious if other Rootchatters have encounter this.
So here goes l recently became aware my grandfather had another family well nothing new there l hear you say. My match comes up as 1st cousin once removed- 2nd cousin on Myheritage when in fact this person is 1st 1\2 . I'm thinking the computers can't pin point exact matches -
Ps how do  l  show this on my tree

Hi

If I understand you correctly, you need to just link the half first cousin to your grandmother and not your grandfather.

i.e.


your grandfather  -   your grand mother   - other partner

I've had a good look at my matches in My Heritage and I can't see a way of changing their estimate of relationship, as you can in Ancestry. The only way seems to be to add it as a comment or in your tree, as shown.
