In reply 1 - the obituary for Samuel mentions a sister Mrs A Jordan - this would be sister Annie Taylor who married Richard Jordan -

Yes Sandra all this Irish stuff is exactly right.Joseph aged 10 in the 1901 census is possibly the elusive one gone to Edmonton.
