This is confusing....I have 4 William Mills BERRYs on my tree.

1.   Bn 1833 m Louisa (don't know her surname)  I know he left a will in 1870.
2.   Bn 1883 m Emma FAWCETT
3.   Bn 1859 m Lucy Jane WEST
4.   Bn 1885

Can anyone find out anything about Louisa please?  She is on the 1871 Census here:

The 1871 entry for Louisa shows her as unmarried & William M Berry as her brother but no wife shown for him

You need to look at your dates as there is a marriage in 1857 William Mills Berry & Emma Fawcett which does not tie in with him being b 1883

Emma Louisa Fawcett b 1855 was illegitimate as per GRO online - no mothers maiden name shown

The Norfolk News 26 Nov 1870 referring to the estate of William Mills Berry refers to " ... whose will was proved .... by Louisa Berry, spinster ..."

The niece in 1871 - Emma Fawcett - appears to be  the illegitimate daughter of the Emma Fawcett above

Lucy Jane West & William Mills Berry married 1882 Bradford Yorkshire.  According to both the 1891 & 1901 entries he was b Bradford

Birth on freebmd in Dec qtr 1858 Bradford - mmn Fawcett so he was the son shown above - parents William b 1833 & Emma Fawcett
