Whiley deaths
« on: Wednesday 22 February 23 10:38 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my great grandparents, Jospeh WHILEY and Mary Jane WHILEY (Going). They both died relatively young in Northampton in 1919. Mary died 12th December and Joseph 30th Jul and was just wondering if there is any way to find cause of death without ordering certificates? Thanks again in advance!

I think you are going to have to bite the bullet and order the certificates if you want to know the cause of death. Looking at the dates of death they may well have succumbed to the Spanish flu outbreak which occurred just after WW1.

Hi to you both.

I can see both of your grandparents were buried in Billing Road Cemetery, Northampton. No Coroner's Inquest so no help there. As emeltom says way forward is to actually buy the certificates. I looked on Anc* and only saw your own tree. Sandy
