Invitation to St Mary's Lighthouse 125th Birthday Celebrations

You are invited to take part in the St Mary's Lighthouse, 125th Birthday Celebrations at Whitley Bay.

There will be a free talk on the history highlights of the lighthouse and island on Wednesday 17 May 2-3pm.

You are also invited to a picnic party on St Mary's Island on the Anniversary on Thursday, 31 August 2023 11am - 1 pm. 
Bring your own blanket and picnic and enjoy some free Birthday Cake whilst stocks last!

There is a charge if you wish to climb the light house.

I went a couple of weeks ago, and the volunteers were lovely , Mum and I were delighted to be able to watch the seals on the rocks ,
