Really making an enquiry on behalf of someone else. Just wondering if anyone knows more about its history, specifically the construction of the car park there in the 1950s/60s?? Apparently this resulted in the loss/destruction of some of the existing gravestones, which included one of their relatives. They have been told the car park construction was quite controversial and there were lots of newspaper articles about this at the time but I haven’t been able to find any.
